The 40 Days for Life Anti Human Tracking Event included a training with Adam String, a Senior Criminal Investigator in the Human Trafficking Unit at the Denver District Attorney’s Office and a Task Force Officer with the Cyber Guardian Task Force, with Homeland Security Investigations.

More than a million people live in conditions of modern slavery in the United States today, according to the Global Slavery Index, or about 3.3 out of every 1,000 people in the country. And the National Human Trafficking Hotline found 1,533 human trafficking cases involving nearly 3,000 victims in Maryland since 2007.
